It was a magic mirror! The Fox looked at her reflection and saw not her fluffy red fur, but smooth, blue-black feathers and a beak!
Ever since then, the Fox has dreamed of spreading her wings and taking flight over the old forest, soaring above sharp mountain peaks, and diving into golden clouds!
And sitting behind a fir tree, giggling, is Kra the Raven (who was actually the one reflected in the mirror at that moment).
The creature is sewn of fabric, painted with a brush in my author's technique.
