This pen case is made to order, crafted specifically for you after your order is placed. Each round zipper pen case is meticulously hand-stitched. We use Italian leather, specifically Buttero and Pueblo, known for their remarkable aging qualities, allowing you to enjoy the rich patina that develops over time – the greatest pleasure of owning leather goods. Unzip it to reveal space for four pens. Even thicker pens, like fountain pens, fit comfortably. The leftmost slot is designed to accommodate exceptionally large pens, such as a Montblanc 149. A characteristic of round zipper pen cases is the potential for pens to scratch the zipper during insertion or removal. To prevent this, we've incorporated a suede cover for the zipper. This unique "pen guard" is a distinctive feature of our round zipper pen case, setting it apart. The pen guard, located beneath the pen holder, not only prevents pens from sliding down even without using the clip but also protects against zipper scratches. The interior base is crafted from soft suede. Due to transparent dye coloring, you may observe markings like "tora" (tiger stripes) or "ketsujin" (veins), which are natural signs of the cow's life. Please understand that these are integral to the leather's character and texture. As these are dye-finished, the color may vary slightly with each production batch, potentially differing from the color samples. The Buttero and Pueblo leathers we use are a joy to age. Initially, they have a slightly matte texture with subdued luster, but with use, they develop a beautiful sheen and deepen in color, offering the most satisfying aspect of leather goods: transformation over time. Notebooks and pens shown in the images are not included. Due to the nature of natural leather, you may find slight color variations, tiger stripes, or minor scratches. Please embrace these as characteristic features of vegetable-tanned leather. Please be aware that color transfer may occur when wet or if rubbed strongly.
