**|Introduction|**
This introductory course is perfect for those new to ceramics. Transform everyday essentials like cups, bowls, plates, small vases, and planters into ideal pieces with your own hands. You'll be guided through fundamental hand-building techniques and the principles of coloring, with the freedom to choose your own forms.
**|Workshop Content| Minimum 1 person, Maximum 7 people**
Before the class, take some time to envision your desired shapes and forms. Feel free to discuss your ideas with us after registration, and the session will proceed even more smoothly that day🌼
Learn basic hand-building techniques and receive guidance to complete your piece. You can choose to color and decorate your work or create multiple pieces within the allotted time. Select a single glaze color from our options on the day of the class. KO CERAMICS will handle the glazing (or no glazing) for your pieces after the course.

• Two-Part Glazing Course | Additional 40 minutes per session: For a complete understanding of the ceramic creation process. After completing the first session and allowing 2-3 weeks for bisque firing, you will schedule another time to learn glazing techniques and methods, applying the glaze to your piece yourself🫶🏼

• Private group experiences are welcome for friends, groups, and corporate gatherings. The space can accommodate up to 10-12 people (excluding pottery wheel sessions). Please message us for details; special rates are available for private bookings.
• For private bookings or any inquiries, feel free to contact us via our LINE official account or IG direct message.
• Each person receives a fixed clay portion of 500-800 grams. Additional clay can be purchased if you wish to create more pieces during the class ($50 NTD for 500g).
• The course fee does not include kiln firing costs. Kiln firing fees are calculated as: volume (length x width x height x 0.15), with a minimum charge of $80 NTD per piece.
• Completed pieces undergo a meticulous process of natural air drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. Please allow 4-6 weeks for this entire procedure.
• Please decide whether you'd like to pick up your piece in person or have it shipped via 7-11 store-to-store delivery when you attend the class.
Once your piece has been fired, we will carefully sand it and notify you for pickup (please collect within 1 month).
|In-Person Pickup|: To be environmentally friendly, please bring your own bag or shopping bag for collection. Your piece will be wrapped with simple cushioning materials.
|7-11 Store-to-Store Delivery|: For those opting for shipping, a fee of $120 NTD will be charged for shipping and packaging. For pieces exceeding 2 items, an additional packaging fee of $30 NTD per piece will apply.
(We will inspect, sand, and securely package your item before shipping. In line with our eco-friendly approach, we utilize pre-used packaging materials.)
Please assess the risks of shipping yourself. Our studio is not responsible for any damage incurred during transit. We appreciate your understanding.

**|Friendly Reminders|**
• It is recommended to trim your nails before class for easier handling. If you have nail art, it should be fine as long as it's not too long.
• No prior pottery experience is necessary. This class is currently open to participants aged 12 and above.
• Please be mindful of the creation time. A late fee of $150 NTD per person will be applied for classes exceeding 30 minutes past the scheduled start time.
• The space operates by appointment only. To maintain the quality of the learning experience, accompanying guests or collaborative assistance are not permitted. Please do not be late.
• You will be working with clay, slip, and pigments during the class. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing (aprons are provided).
• Studio space is limited. Please collect your finished pieces within 1 month of receiving the pickup notification. Unclaimed items will be handled by the studio.
• Due to the potential for thinness or fragility in the unfired pieces, resulting in cracks or damage during the firing process, participants assume the risk. The studio is not liable for compensation.
• The ceramic creation and high-temperature firing processes involve numerous variables. Refunds will not be issued for damage not caused by human error. Please understand. (Variations in glaze/pigment color due to firing temperature and kiln atmosphere, cracks, glaze crawling, pinholes, natural disasters, etc., are considered non-human-induced damage.)
**|Class Modifications and Refunds|**
**Lateness:** Please arrive 10 minutes early. A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed for the class to commence.
!!! Entry will not be permitted for classes exceeding 20 minutes past the start time, and no refunds will be issued. If you need to reschedule, a rescheduling fee of $500 NTD per person will apply. !!!
**Refunds:** Refunds will not be provided for same-day cancellations due to "lateness."
• Applications made 7 days prior to the class (excluding the event day): Full refund.
**Modifications:** Same-day modifications are not accepted due to "lateness."
• If you are unable to attend on the day due to personal reasons, please notify us via private message at least 3 days prior to the class (excluding the event day) to arrange a reschedule, or transfer your spot to another participant. No refunds will be issued.
• You have the right to reschedule your appointment once, up to 3 days before the booked class (excluding the event day) (the rescheduled class must be completed within 1 month). Failure to use this right will result in no extension or refund.
• Within 3 days of booking, if you need to change the date, a rescheduling fee of $500 NTD per person will apply. This allows for one change only and does not permit same-day modifications.
**|Suspension Due to Natural Disasters|**
• In the event of natural disasters or other force majeure circumstances, we will proactively contact you to assist with rescheduling or refund arrangements.
**|Class Documentation|**
• During the introductory class, the instructor will assist with taking photos for documentation, which may be shared on our platforms later. If you wish to [avoid having your photo publicly shared, please inform us in advance], we will ensure your photos are not taken during the session.
