4-Strand Bracelet with Antique Peacock Blue & Orange Seed Beads, Mizoram Carnelian, and Turquoise Clasp

This is a 4-strand bracelet crafted from antique peacock blue & orange seed beads and Mizoram carnelian. The peacock blue and orange beads are old Indian seed beads, with a beautifully worn texture that speaks to their history and the many years they’ve been cherished. (Circa 19th-20th century) Their lustrous, irregular shapes and subtle color variations are utterly captivating. (Seed bead size: 2-2.5mm) The orange beads near the clasp are Mizoram carnelian, heirlooms from the Mizoram state in eastern India, dating back to around the 18th century. They possess a rich tapestry of color variation, giving them a wonderfully expressive character! Please note, as with all antique items, they bear marks of their age. A bead of amber-toned Mizoram carnelian graces the loop of the clasp. The golden beads are old Oriya brass, rare and ancient beads sourced from the Orissa region of India. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! The intricate, painstaking detail, likely all done by hand, is truly awe-inspiring. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by the hill tribes residing in the Thai-Burma region. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to be of exceptionally high purity. The clasp features a vibrant turquoise.
