The exterior of the offering box is a cube with sides of 25cm, modeled after the square shape of the altar. On the lid, a vertically elongated opening is present on each of the four sides, symbolizing the network surrounding the altar and serving as a reminder of the attitude of offering oneself to God. At the four corners of the lid, the tops of upright pillars emerge, symbolizing the four corners of the altar. A handle is centrally located, used for lifting the box and opening/closing the lid. The sides of the box feature a structure where multiple wooden pieces stand and interlock, expressing the unity of God's people as they offer their contributions. Inside, bolts run from the base to the lid. When securely tightened by the handle, the lid, walls, and base are firmly joined.
