The exterior of the offering box is a cube with sides of 25cm, modeled after the square shape of the altar. On the lid, there is a vertical slot opening in all four directions, symbolizing the net surrounding the altar and serving as a reminder of the spirit of "offering oneself to God." The tips of four corner posts emerge from the four corners of the lid, symbolizing the four corners of the altar. A handle is provided in the center for lifting the box and opening/closing the lid. The sides of the box feature a structure where multiple wooden pieces intersect and stand upright, representing the people of God offering their hearts as one. Inside, bolts run through from the bottom plate to the lid. The handle securely fastens them, creating a strong connection between the lid, walls, and base. This piece explores the external form and internal meaning of "offering" through its shape, structure, function, and assembly method.
