The familiar signages for ophthalmology, dentistry, and pediatrics even preserve Chinese terms from the Japanese colonial period, like miniature historical snapshots sealed on the streets. 【 About the Brand 】 Jin Yuan Xing: A Century-Old Fabric Merchant from Tainan Founded in 1923 by Mr. Chang Hsiang, the first-generation founder, Jin Yuan Xing began in a modest dwelling on Tainan's Shennong Street. Initially focused on fabric import, dyeing, and wholesale/retail, it gradually grew into a significant fabric supplier during the Japanese colonial and post-war periods. However, with industrial transformation and changing consumer habits, the fabric business began to decline. A century later, it has evolved into "Jin Yuan Xing Fabric Store," "Jin Yuan Xing Living," and "Jin Yuan Xing Space."
