Small Round Brass Spoon

A small, round spoon crafted from brass. It's perfect for savoring small bites or as a sugar spoon. Each piece is shaped using the traditional metalworking technique of *tankan*. The silver-toned portion is coated with tin, offering a soft, gentle sheen. The handle is left as untreated brass, developing a warm, mellow patina with use. This series also includes a fork and spoon, available in both copper and brass, making for four distinct options. Brass and pure copper are known for their excellent thermal conductivity and are considered hygienic due to their antibacterial properties. For daily use, simply wash with mild dish soap. The natural aging process will deepen the color and create a beautiful, subdued luster. If you wish to restore its original shine, gently polish with baking soda or toothpaste. Please ensure it is thoroughly dried after washing. *Please note that variations in color due to oxidation and minor scratches are inherent to the material.
