Ice Cream Girl was a popular toy in the 1980s, manufactured in Hong Kong and primarily sold to the American market. In response to market trends, Hong Kong also produced a local version, featuring pink hair, a pink strawberry-patterned dress, and a pink hat. She carries a soft-serve ice cream cup, worn like a crossbody bag, hence her name, Ice Cream Girl. She also had a male companion, known as Ice Cream Boy. Their heads and hands were made of vinyl, a craft product Hong Kong excelled at during that era.
