Broken or chipped pottery, no longer in use, is revived and transformed into accessories with the art of kintsugi. The concept behind these pieces is to reconnect people with nature and Japan's enduring traditions, breathing new life and possibilities into modern accessories that bridge the past and future. This work uses a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. While traditional kintsugi uses genuine lacquer derived from the sap of the lacquer tree, this simplified version uses adhesive for bonding.
