The surface color of the leather gradually darkens. Combined with the natural oils from your hands and the friction from daily use, it develops a lustrous patina. This allows leather goods made from vegetable-tanned leather to transform uniquely with time and user habits, which we believe is a testament to the shared journey between the user and the leather. As a result, during their lives, cattle may experience insect bites, scratches, or punctures. Free-ranging cattle might also bear branding marks. As they grow, natural lines and wrinkles form. In cases of difficult births for cows, there might be surgical scars. During the process of slaughtering for meat, skinning can also cause knife marks. These marks are faithfully preserved on the leather when it is processed, serving as proof of the animal's life journey. It is advisable to avoid storing leather in humid environments. If the leather accidentally gets wet, wipe it immediately with a dry cloth and allow it to air dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, as this can cause the leather to harden and deteriorate. Once dry, you can apply leather conditioner to replenish the leather's oils. You may also spray a waterproofing agent onto the surface to protect against accidental spills and enhance surface protection. For storage or prolonged periods of non-use, place the leather item in an electronic dehumidifying cabinet, maintaining humidity between 50%-60% to prevent mold. Alternatively, a sealed bag with a desiccant pack can achieve a similar effect. Cowhide is not excessively ground or coated with heavy surface finishes. Therefore, slight variations in color, texture, and minor scratches are inherent. If you require a perfectly flawless leather surface, it may be difficult to meet this expectation, and we regret that we cannot accept requests for "flawless leather." Furthermore, once personalization (such as engraving or laser carving) has been applied, returns will not be accepted unless there was a production error.
