【About the Artist】yu-ying
Born in Taiwan in 1991, I began doodling unconsciously in 2000. I truly faced the path elders warned would lead to poverty—"you'll starve if you pick up a paintbrush"—during a low point in 2012. To this day, I still enjoy using illustration to document the scenes around me, or the inner cries I cannot express verbally. Although I haven't yet fully entered this field as a professional, I understand it requires significant effort and is no simple undertaking.
