Unfettered: Taiwan Contemporary Women Calligraphers Exhibition

"Unfettered: Taiwan Contemporary Women Calligraphers Exhibition" is the first large-scale thematic exhibition curated with Taiwanese women calligraphers as its focus. Curated by Professor Lu Hui-wen from the Graduate Institute of Art History at National Taiwan University, the exhibition brings together 49 artists and 2 calligraphy associations, showcasing 61 works at the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center. The exhibition gathers creators from different generations, backgrounds, and styles within Taiwan, and also invites participation from women artists from China, Japan, South Korea, Iran, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, aiming to present the diverse aspects of contemporary women calligraphers and reveal the paths they have taken and the life experiences they have narrated through the art of calligraphy.
