Hardware: Brass Packaging: Box Handmade and hand-stitched. Made in Hong Kong. Leather Description: This waxed vegetable-tanned cowhide leather is coated with white wax for protection and nourishment. With use, the wax will gradually absorb, deepening the color and enhancing the luster. It's a leather that evolves beautifully. You can choose to have it made before waxing, after waxing, or with a diagonal pattern effect (as shown in photos A, B, S). Vegetable tanning is one of the oldest tanning methods, utilizing tanning agents extracted from plants, such as tannins. This process involves repeatedly immersing the hide in tanning solutions of varying concentrations over one to two months. Vegetable-tanned leather is free from harmful heavy metals and chemicals, making it safe for direct skin contact while preserving the leather's natural texture.
