For the first wash, please use a neutral detergent several times. You may also use a paper towel dipped in edible oil to wipe the surface repeatedly; this easily removes any residual grey titanium powder from the manufacturing process. Then, wash with neutral detergent. As we use food-grade oil during stamping and do not use acid pickling, some residual grey titanium powder is unavoidable. This is a non-toxic, safe manufacturing process, and it is perfectly safe to scrub. 2. If there are burn marks or stuck-on residue, use the firmer side of a sponge or a soft steel brush to gently scrub. 3. If the colored surface of the titanium is scrubbed away or the original color is revealed, rest assured that since there is no coating, pure titanium is safe, non-toxic, and free from harmful heavy metals. It is safe to scrub these utensils. 4. Do not soak in reducing acid-based cleaners (such as stain removers or hydrogen peroxide) or sodium percarbonate, as these will permanently strip the titanium of its color and luster. 【Characteristics Explained】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release. During initial use in steaming or cooking, or after washing, food stains or large purple-blue patches may appear. Even without heating, brown patches may appear after washing (this is not rust; pure titanium does not rust). These are inherent metallic characteristics or changes from our pre-firing process. They do not affect safety, and they will fade or disappear with regular use. 2. Due to greater difficulty in stress release, square-shaped utensils may show more pronounced color changes and are more prone to brown patches. 3. Exposure to temperatures above 250°C in ovens or direct gas flames may cause purple-blue color changes; the color will not disappear, but it does not affect safety. 4. Large flat surfaces are more susceptible to warping when exposed to direct gas flames. 5. Pure titanium can easily retain water spots, which is a metallic characteristic. If this is a concern, dry immediately after washing to maintain visual clarity. 【Applicable Appliances】 **Single-layer titanium tableware can be used for heating; double-layer is not suitable for heating.** Dish Dryer - Suitable: If oily residue like olive oil is not fully cleaned, blue-purple powder may appear during drying; this is simply dried oil and will not reappear once cleaned thoroughly.
