For the first wash, use a regular neutral detergent and rinse several times. You can also wipe the spoon with a paper towel dipped in edible oil to remove any residual gray titanium powder from the processing. Afterward, wash with a neutral detergent. As edible oil is used for pressing and no acid pickling is involved, some gray titanium powder residue is unavoidable. This safe, non-toxic pure titanium manufacturing process allows for worry-free scrubbing. 2. For burnt-on food or stubborn stains, gently scrub with the rough side of a sponge or a soft steel brush. 3. If the colored surface of the titanium is scrubbed away, revealing the natural color underneath, rest assured that it is not a coating. Pure titanium is safe and non-toxic, containing no harmful heavy metals, so you can scrub it with confidence. 4. Do not soak the titanium in stain removers, hydrogen peroxide, or other acidic cleaning agents like sodium percarbonate. These can alter and irreversibly damage the color and luster of the titanium. 【Material Characteristics】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and does not easily release stress. For items like lunch boxes, food containers, and pots, initial steaming or cooking, or post-washing food stains, large purple-blue patches, or brown patches appearing after washing (not rust, as titanium does not rust) are all characteristics of the metal, or changes resulting from our pre-firing process. These do not affect safe use and will fade or disappear on their own after a period of normal use. 2. Square-shaped utensils, due to even greater difficulty in stress release, may exhibit more intense color changes and are more prone to brown patches. 3. Exposure to ovens above 250°C or direct flame on a gas stove may cause purple-blue discoloration. The color will not disappear but does not affect safe usage. 4. Large flat surfaces are more susceptible to warping when exposed to direct gas flame. 5. Titanium easily retains water spots due to its metallic properties. If this is a concern, dry the utensil immediately after washing to prevent water spots from affecting its visual appearance. 【Appliance Compatibility】 **Single-layer titanium tableware can be used for heating; double-layer is not suitable for heating.** Dish dryer - Suitable: If residual oil, like olive oil, is not thoroughly washed off, it may appear as bluish-purple powder after drying. This is dried oil and will disappear after washing. Dishwasher - Suitable: Some detergents contain sodium percarbonate, which may leave more water spots after washing, but this does not affect safety.
