Material: Compressed wood handle, stamp surface is brick red, front features a white background with printed brown lines. Dimensions: The "Meow! Hooray!" stamp series includes 5 designs. Cat Croissant, Cat Saint-Honoré, Cat Cream Puffs are 3x4cm. Cat Strawberry Cream is 2.5x4cm. Cat Crepes are 2.5x5cm. All have a height of approximately 2cm. Stamps> We've turned our "Meow! Hooray!" series into stamps 🐈‍⬛ This time, we've used comic halftones to capture the cats' varying shades of fur. I love the subtle depth and variation that comes through when stamping. Adding cute cat slogans gives them a direct, retro comic book poster feel. You can also cut them out and use them for collage. For this stamp collage sample, I've used two different sizes of planners. An Ashford Bible-sized organizer and an m5 personal-sized binder. I wanted to create completely different styles with stamp collages. The Ashford organizer has a dark, retro vibe. The inner pages use self-made dark green and earthy yellow paper. I decorated the dark paper by stamping the cat designs. I used the VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad. This ink pad stamps a particularly deep black with a strong presence; the lines remain clear and delicate even on dark paper. The halftone details on the cats are also very fine. I especially love stamping them on silver-grey paper, which evokes a nostalgic, retro comic book poster feel. For the smaller m5 binder, I wanted to create a free-spirited, uninhibited comic style with bold color blocking. So, I extensively used fluorescent colors and black paper for contrast. I cut them into comic speech bubbles, arrows, and explosion frames, then stamped the cats onto them. For this binder, I still used the VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad. (I considered trying more colorful ink pads, but the color palette was already quite varied. I'll share examples using other colored ink pads on social media later.) The intense black ink on the fluorescent paper creates a strong contrast, which I really like. Beyond simple planner embellishments, this collage example also demonstrates using stamps for gift wrapping. I simply wrapped the gift box with colored paper. Then, I stamped the cat designs in various colors. Attaching them directly or decorating with paper clips, small round stickers, and bows makes them incredibly cute! Pay attention to the amount of ink; smoother paper allows for finer lines but may not hold a thick layer of ink, potentially causing bleeding after drying. It's recommended to test your ink pads and papers beforehand to understand their characteristics, which will help you achieve delicate lines with ease.
