[Cleaning and Characteristics] 1. For the first wash, please use a general neutral detergent and wash several times. You can also wipe several times with a paper towel dipped in edible oil to easily remove any residual gray titanium powder from processing. Then, wash clean with a neutral detergent. As edible oil is used for pressing and no acid pickling is performed, residual gray titanium powder is unavoidable. This is part of the safe manufacturing process for non-toxic pure titanium, and it can be safely scrubbed. 2. If there are burnt residues or stubborn stains, gently scrub with the rougher side of a sponge or a soft steel wool. 3. If the colored surface of the titanium is scrubbed off, revealing the original color, it is not a coating. Bento boxes, food containers, and square pots may show food stains or large purple-blue patches during initial steaming or after washing. Brown patches (not rust, as titanium does not rust) appearing after heating or washing are characteristics of the metal or changes from our prior firing process. They do not affect safe use and will fade or disappear gradually with normal use over time. 2. Square tableware, due to more difficult stress release, may exhibit more intense color changes and brown patches. 3. Pots, cutting boards, and small baking pans may show purple-blue changes when heated above 250°C in an oven or over direct flame. These colors will not disappear but still do not affect safe use. 4. Large flat shapes are more prone to warping when exposed to direct gas flame. 5. Pure titanium easily retains water stains, which is a characteristic of the metal. If this is a concern, dry the items immediately after washing to prevent water stains from affecting their appearance. [Appliance Compatibility] **Single-layer titanium tableware can be used for heating; double-layer is not suitable for heating.** Dishwasher - Applicable: If oils like olive oil are not washed off, blue-purple powder may appear after drying. This is dried oil and will not reappear after washing clean. Washing Machine - Applicable: Some detergents contain sodium percarbonate, which may leave water stains after washing, but does not affect safety. Gas Stove - Direct flame usable: However, do not dry-burn. Use low to medium heat only.
