For the first wash, use a neutral detergent several times. You may also use a paper towel dipped in edible oil to wipe the surface repeatedly; this easily removes any residual gray titanium powder from production. Afterward, wash with neutral detergent. As we use food-grade oil for stamping without acid pickling, some gray titanium powder residue is unavoidable. This is a safe, non-toxic pure titanium manufacturing process, and it is safe to scrub. 2. If burnt or stuck-on residue appears, use the abrasive side of a sponge or a soft steel brush to scrub gently. 3. If any colored titanium on the surface is scrubbed away, or if the natural color is revealed, rest assured: this is not a coating. Pure titanium is safe, non-toxic, and contains no toxic heavy metals, making it safe to scrub. 4. Do not soak in restorative acid-based cleaners, such as stain remover powder or hydrogen peroxide, nor in sodium percarbonate, as these will strip the color and luster of the titanium, which cannot be restored. 【Characteristics Explanation】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release. Food stains or large purple-blue patches may appear during the initial steaming or cooking. This color will not disappear but does not affect safe use. 4. Large flat surfaces may be more prone to warping when used over direct gas flames. 5.
