The blank is hand-rolled using the tire-twisting technique to combine white clay and American black soil.
Let two different raw materials form marble-like textures on the surface of the object.
The ash from the firewood during the firewood burning process makes the background mottled and full of layers.
The delicate spiral pattern on the inner circle hides surprises.
It is a vessel with both practical and ornamental functions.

**Introduction to tire twisting**
Tire twisting is a difficult pulling technique.
Knead two or more soil materials of different colors together.
Then they are twisted together during the pulling process to naturally form beautiful lines.
The difficulty lies in the closeness between different soil materials and the configuration of textures.
If it cannot be kneaded properly, the work will easily have gaps and water seepage.
If the drawing technique is not sophisticated enough, the colors can easily get mixed together.
The studio teachers have more than 30 years of experience in making pottery and can produce this work with skillful techniques.

**Introduction to wood burning**
"Wood firing" is the traditional way of firing kilns.
There are "fire marks" naturally left by the firewood directly on the body, as well as the ashes that naturally fall after the firewood is burned, making the color of the work warm and richly varied, a state that cannot be achieved by electric kilns and gas kilns.
Compared with ordinary electric kilns and gas kilns, wood burning takes about 8 to 10 days from rowing (stacking) kilns, igniting and burning to sealing the kiln, and then cooling down.
In addition, the pressure of the wood-burning kiln is very high, as well as factors such as climate humidity, dryness of the wood, artificial speed of adding firewood, and kiln discharge position... which may lead to the success or failure of the work, and the damage rate is also high.
Experienced wood-burning writers will consider the speed of the airflow throughout the kiln when discharging the kiln. They must plan from how to discharge the works of different sizes, how to estimate the rise of the fire path, how to add firewood and carbon, and the degree of combustion. mind. Every process requires full concentration so that perfect wood-fired works can be presented.

**Precautions**
1. The works are all handmade, with different textures and colors, and computer displays vary.
2. Bumps, trace bubbles, glaze color shades, and cracked textures on the surface of the work are normal hand-made phenomena and are not defects.
3. Each work is stamped with the stamp of Mingya Kiln or hand-engraved by the author (Teacher Cai Rongzong, Teacher Zhong Xuanhui).
4. Please clean it with a sponge, soft detergent and water before first use. It should not be exposed to direct fire sources for heating, and the temperature difference between hot and cold should not be too large. Can be used in microwave ovens, ovens and electric cookers.
5. The works are all taken from actual products. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email on the site. We will reply to you as soon as possible!!
6. After receiving the package, please open it within 24 hours to confirm the status of the work. If it is damaged during transportation, please reply via private message as soon as possible so that we can confirm with the logistics and ensure your rights.
