Vintage German Hanhart mechanical stopwatch

Vintage German Hanhart mechanical stopwatch. Founded on 1 July 1882 by Johann Adolf Hanhart in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, and relocated to Schwenningen, Germany, in 1902. Hanhart produced its first stopwatch in 1924 and still manufactures precision timekeeping instruments in Gütenbach, Germany. This is a watch from their professional series with a hand-wound movement. Marked “3 Steine” (3 jewels), “Shockproof”. Timing resolution: 1/5 second, minute counter in 1/100 minute. White dial with red and black scales, central sweep seconds, 30-minute sub-dial. Chrome-plated brass case with crown and side pusher. Estimated second half of the last century. Original precision timing instrument for sports, laboratory, or technical use. This watch is in working order and has some wear on the chrome plating as well as wear along the edge of the glass. The photographs are a part of the description.
