3. Dry

4. First firing (plain firing)
Temperature control: The initial firing temperature is usually between 900°C and 1000°C. The purpose of this process is to remove moisture and organic matter from the clay and to initially fix the shape of the clay.
Firing equipment: Commonly used ones include electric kilns, wood-fired kilns, etc.
5. Apply glaze
Glaze preparation: Glaze needs to be prepared according to the formula, usually composed of minerals such as feldspar and quartz, with a certain proportion of iron, cobalt, chromium and other pigments added.

Drying: After glazing, the object needs to be thoroughly dry to prevent the glaze from flowing during firing.
6. High-temperature firing (glaze firing)
Firing temperature: The glaze firing temperature for celadon is usually between 1150°C and 1300°C. The exact temperature depends on the glaze recipe and desired effect.
Atmosphere Control: Depending on the firing atmosphere (oxidizing or reducing), the color of celadon will vary. Reducing atmospheres are often used to obtain deep cyan colors, while oxidizing atmospheres may cause celadon to appear brighter.
Firing equipment: Commonly used kilns include electric kilns, wood-fired kilns, etc. Different types of kilns can affect the texture and color of the glaze.
7. Cooling and inspection
Cooling: After firing, celadon needs to be cooled slowly to prevent cracks or glaze problems caused by rapid temperature changes.
Inspection: After cooling, the celadon is inspected to confirm that the glaze is even and free of blemishes or defects.
8. Post-processing
Trimming: If necessary, post-trimming or polishing can be done to improve the appearance and texture of the celadon.
9. Decorative craftsmanship
Carving: Carving on the surface of celadon objects to increase decoration. Common carving techniques include engraving, printing, etc.
Decals: Decorate with a variety of paints or metals to add an artistic effect.
