Small hand-knotted wool tabletop rug

Small hand-knotted wool tabletop rug with narrow main border and small field featuring a large Gul medallion. The Gul motif is often seen in Turkman, Gorgan and Khal Mohammadi rugs. 'Gul' is Farsi for flower. This piece measures 33cm x 31cm (incl. fringes) and is in fair condition with some fraying at the fringes, edges and corners. The fringes also have discoloration due to usage and aging. The surface of the rug also has wear in parts. The photographs are a part of the description.
