With thirty years of dedicated experience, they craft these pieces to preserve the tree's core. During this process, the release of stress in the heartwood's annual rings naturally causes fiber cracking. Each selected healthy tree core is then meticulously repaired by our artisans using a mixture of Japanese Hinoki wood powder and adhesive, leaving behind a beautiful "mark of the heart" – this is true "Heartwood."
