Hand-Stitched Seams Our products are crafted entirely by hand, without the use of sewing machines. Before stitching, specially designed pricking irons are used to create precise holes in the leather. This meticulous process allows for the creation of beautiful, wave-like stitch patterns, distinguishing our work from machine-sewn items. Hand-Burnished Edges Before a piece is considered complete, its edges are carefully burnished and sealed. Our goal is to achieve smooth, rounded, and natural-looking edges. Hand-Dyed Leather For our hand-dyed items, "Tangent Linear" utilizes imported Fiebing's leather alcohol dyes from the United States. To ensure a uniform and natural coloration, we begin by slightly dampening the leather surface. Then, using a sponge, we apply the dye repeatedly, building from light to deep hues until the desired color is achieved. Once dry, a color-setting agent is applied to enhance colorfastness. We then lightly coat the surface with water, wiping away any surface dust to further even out the color. As each piece is dyed entirely by hand, subtle variations in color exist between individual items, making every bag uniquely its own.
