Fragrant Oolong Tea | Organic Taiwanese Oolong The Fragrant Oolong, a lightly to medium-fermented tea made from Qingxin Oolong cultivar, shares a characteristic with the renowned Oriental Beauty. Cultivated in an pristine environment, the tea bushes are naturally nurtured by the delicate touch of the leafhopper. As the tiny insect pierces the tender leaves to feed on their chlorophyll, it signals the tea buds to slow their growth and mature, a process known as "着蜒" (zhuó yán) or "leafhopper's kiss." Only tea leaves kissed by the leafhopper can produce this exceptionally aromatic tea. What was once considered a pest is now cherished, serving as the ultimate testament to the tea's natural cultivation and complete absence of pesticides. The liquor is a clear, bright amber. The initial taste is richly sweet, brimming with the aroma of ripe fruits like peach and cherry. Following the honeyed notes, a fresh floral fragrance emerges, culminating in a delicate osmanthus sweetness in the final infusions. Its unique aroma lingers long after each sip. Brewing Method: Hot Brew 1. Place 4 grams of tea leaves into a teapot (or cup). Adjust the amount to your preference for strength. 2. Pour hot water at approximately 80°C into a 120cc teapot (or cup). 3. Steep for about 30 seconds, then pour out the liquor to enjoy. 4. The leaves can be steeped multiple times. Net Weight: 75g
