Wrinkles, vein patterns, insect bite marks, and scars are normal characteristics of the material. Over time, the leather will also naturally change in color (e.g., deepen in shade, develop a richer sheen with use). ▪ While hand-dyed leather pieces undergo a setting process, contact with water is still not recommended. If accidental water exposure causes watermarks, you can gently wipe around the water spot in a circular motion with a damp cloth to minimize the appearance of the stain.
