The Theme of Quell the Souls─ 1 set 8 pieces ─ double sided postcard

I am SHAOwei, a Taiwanese designer and illustrator. "The Theme of Quell the Souls" is a series of art works that depicts Taiwan history. The main idea of this series surrounds the history of Martial Law and White Terror Period (1949-1987) in Taiwan. I would like to discuss these historical memories via visual narration and how the history of this specific time period influences Taiwanese and the contemporary Taiwanese society. In addition, I expect that more and more Taiwanese will show their interest in transitional justice and the issue of Taiwan independence. The assailants and the history should not be forgotten.
