Little Bird's Song Series: Hand-painted Yellow Bird Plate

How did such a unique little bird come to be? I don't really know myself. That's because I always work spontaneously, without sketching out ideas or drawing preliminary sketches beforehand. If I were to draw a sketch first, I'd feel like I was just following a blueprint, which I find rather dull and uninspiring. Most importantly, it wouldn't capture the excitement that comes from spontaneous inspiration. I simply start with a general idea in my mind, like "I'll draw a bird today" or "I'll draw a flower," and then approach the white plate spontaneously, focusing intently. Things just seem to emerge on their own. I then pick out what strikes me as interesting to create the final piece. That's why I never know what will appear. And I don't worry about the outcome. I do this for the dynamism, the new discoveries, the surprises, and the encounters that arise. This is a brief introduction for those interested in my work, explaining how I create.
