This land, which is also an agricultural region, is a fertile land where you can still feel the breath of traditional agriculture and manufacturing.
The black beans grown in this region are called "Tamba black soybeans" and swell greatly due to the temperature differences that are unique to the basin, especially the Tamba region. They have long been popular as a lucky charm for celebrations.
Kiri no Asa processes these "Tamba black soybeans" taking advantage of their flavor and their large, chewy texture. For the adzuki beans, we also use the "Tamba Dainagon adzuki beans," a high-quality variety grown in the Tamba region that are large, beautiful, and have thin skins.
