FENDI has been incredibly popular in recent years. Since the baguette bag's revival, coupled with the trend of shoulder bags, it has consistently ranked among the top fashion items almost every season!
It's worth noting that due to strong endorsements from various influencers, most FENDI shoulder bags have seen continuous price increases, with some styles now reaching astronomical prices.
Therefore, finding a shoulder bag at a friendly price point is not easy. This denim shoulder bag is highly recommended! The shop owner owns one too!
This is a rarer style among FENDI baguette bags, less common than the iconic FF metal buckle or the crescent moon styles.
You'll notice its understated design; the FENDI lettering is subtly engraved on one side of the elongated metal hardware, only visible upon closer inspection.
I personally love its low-key aesthetic; compared to the commonly seen large FF buckles, I prefer these subtle, detailed pieces! (This is why I kept one for myself.)
Denim bags are definitely a hot item for summer. They look super stylish when simply paired with jeans, exuding a natural, effortless vibe!
Every summer, major brands release denim bags, making denim a versatile material that can be used year after year, for a lifetime!
When choosing vintage denim bags, pay attention to the weight. In earlier eras, heavier denim was more expensive, so vintage denim bags from those times are often "quite heavy." This is why some vintage denim bags, despite their modest size, can be heavy – heavier fabric back then signified "precious" and more expensive materials. Brands back then emphasized quality commensurate with price.
As textile technology advanced in later years, bags from more recent eras became lighter.
The bag I have here is made of soft denim and is lightweight. I personally only keep bags that aren't excessively heavy, as I'm terrified of shoulder strain. So, if I say I've kept a bag, you can trust that its weight is manageable!
The fabric of this bag is soft and a darker shade of denim blue, meaning it's not just for spring and summer!
When paired with a short jacket, it looks great with autumn coats and jackets. Its dark color doesn't give off a distinctly "summery" feel on its own.
Even with a sophisticated little dress, it looks stylish when layered with a short jacket. And with a cool, androgynous blazer, it's incredibly chic.
The most minimalist and natural spring/summer outfit is undoubtedly jeans with sneakers/white shoes and a white tee/white shirt – this combination is the ultimate standard!
It's no wonder FENDI shoulder bags are so popular; they effortlessly create stylish yet natural and unpretentious ensembles.
The strap is adjustable, longest for a shoulder bag, and shorter for a handbag. If you really want to wear it crossbody, you can replace the entire strap.
However! This style looks most stylish and attractive as a shoulder bag or carried casually! Plus, a denim bag in good condition is quite rare!
The capacity is excellent; it can hold all your daily essentials, including a large phone or a long wallet. It's definitely not a small, impractical bag.

⚐⚑˒˒The bag is in very good condition. While not mint, it's excellent for a denim piece. The denim material is the soft type.
The entire bag, front, back, edges, corners, and bottom, are free from stains or discoloration, with no loose threads or unraveling.
The very tips of the corners have slight, barely noticeable wear that you'd only see if you picked it up to examine. Overall, there are light signs of use.
There's a small square imprint on the front of the bag, which is from the pressure of the internal clasp. Other than that, there are no other obvious flaws on the bag.
The prominent elongated metal hardware shows no oxidation or significant scratches, only minor marks, and remains brilliantly silver yet understated!
The hardware connecting to the handle is pure silver-toned, with tiny Fendi lettering – a cute little detail. The edges also show light signs of use.
The original strap is adjustable or completely detachable and shows light signs of use, only noticeable upon close inspection.
The stitching on the edges is firm and clean. The interior is lined with satin fabric, featuring Fendi lettering. Overall, it shows signs of use but is clean, with no obvious stains, loose threads, or unraveling. It has the brand's metal tag inside, and the original protective film is still attached.
Overall, it's very well-preserved, with light signs of use that are not visually apparent or give a worn-out impression when worn.
I rarely acquire FENDI bags. This type of denim bag is an absolute timeless classic, and it even comes with its original dust bag!

The main reason I love pre-owned bags is that the materials from older eras are far superior to those in modern new items.
In the past, most pre-owned items were✦ handmade, with no mass production by machines, only the warmth of craftsmanship.
The artisan's skill is definitely much more delicate than machines, just as everyone loves products made by skilled artisans!
However, today, most processes are done by machines with minimal human assembly, losing the delicacy of the past.
I believe the simplest and most direct way to see this is by comparing the detailed patterns of recent brand revivals with the true vintage patterns;
the level of detail in the patterns alone is completely different. If you love monograms, look for pre-owned items! Truly!
In terms of style, older eras were more✦ simple, classic, and timeless. Many new styles today are actually revivals of older designs.
However, new items are priced higher than older ones. New designs are usually based on older styles, with added details or design changes.
The final product often ends up more complex (or strange......) than the older versions. I believe as you grow older, you understand one thing:
the simpler, the more enduring!! As you age, your wardrobe will also gravitate towards basic styles because the more basic, the more versatile.
The quality of raw materials in older items is also better than in new ones. Anyone who understands✦ leather can see that the materials in new items are mostly inferior to older ones.
This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is too high now, and their availability is less than before; Earth's resources are dwindling...
Furthermore, brands back then didn't have the "ubiquitous" presence of numerous branches like they do now... Most customers had a certain income level
and certain expectations for the finished product. There was no "fast fashion culture" back then; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in✦ hardware. Many new bags' hardware oxidizes and discolors after just one or two years,
but older models usually don't. Besides the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, hardware from earlier eras was often plated with real K gold!
It's worth mentioning that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
This is why even vintage bags from the 60s and 70s, if well-preserved, can still shine brightly today.
As for new items available now, from what I know of the brands, none of their hardware contains K gold anymore, so they generally oxidize easily.
Many people say buying vintage bags is a form of alternative investment because they rarely depreciate and only increase in value.
This is because well-preserved pre-owned bags are becoming increasingly rare in the market; one disappears, and another is gone. Remember, each one is a discontinued item.
The number of existing pieces in the world is finite, so they will only become fewer, more expensive, and harder to find.
Moreover, many brands adjust their prices periodically, and each adjustment drives up the prices in the pre-owned market.
If a brand releases a "revival model," the vintage reference or similar styles will see a sharp price increase!
Add to this the recent trend of Japanese and Korean celebrities using vintage items; once a particular style is seen on a celebrity, its price skyrockets, truly skyrockets.
This is because, for a period, many people will frantically search for that style or a similar alternative, causing the prices of those few styles to multiply...
Therefore, vintage is truly a case of "buy early, enjoy longer; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's a truth in the vintage world...).
This is my personal experience; I regret not getting into many series earlier... I can't find them anymore, and if I do, they come with a sky-high price tag...
But the problem is, even knowing it's a sky-high price, you're forced to buy it because waiting for the next one will only mean a higher price (unless the condition is poor).
I often get asked about bag maintenance (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I'll include small notes inside the bag for details, so don't worry.
My personal habit is to take them out for maintenance when I organize my closet at the change of seasons (so each seasonal change is a big project...|||).
Actually, pre-owned bags aren't that troublesome. When you're new to it, you just need to get used to regular maintenance and cherishing the bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
The materials of pre-owned bags are inherently excellent. As long as you don't use them roughly and store them properly, they can easily last another ten years and be passed down to your daughter!
Every pre-owned bag is one I love and therefore collect, so I hope you will love it too and be able to preserve it ☪︎ *.。
☾︎.*·̩͙ If you're interested in purchasing, please message me for details. Feel free to ask anything; pre-owned items are for those who understand and appreciate them ⸜❤︎⸝.
