What is Wannian Red: Wannian Red paper undergoes a special surface treatment to resist fading, hence its name. Wannian Red paper can be either handmade or machine-made. While its fade-resistant quality is widely appreciated, the main drawback of Wannian Red is its thinness, making it prone to tearing. Improvements in the "Luxury Edition Couplets": Mei Hao Yi Ri Studio has mounted the thin-gauge Wannian Red paper onto 240g eco-friendly red cardstock, significantly enhancing the durability of the couplet paper! This is likely the first time you've seen such a firm Wannian Red Xuan paper! Adhesion Tips: 1. We recommend using double-sided fabric tape for a residue-free and smooth finish. 2. Experienced users can opt for rice paste; simply wash the wall surface when replacing the couplets the following year. 3. Absolutely avoid using double-sided tape or foam tape, as they are extremely difficult to remove from walls the next year, leading to considerable regret. 4. Height: Position the top of the first character slightly above eye level. 5. For single doors, keep the two couplets relatively close (about 1-2 cm apart). 6.
