Dr. Winnie Cheuk Wong
Ed.D. (UNI) . M.A. (UNI) . B.S.W. (HKPU)
With over 20 years of experience in play education, Dr.WinWin holds Master's and Doctoral degrees in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services from the University of Northern Iowa, USA. Dr.WinWin is the Executive Director and Founder of Play Unlimited and Dr.PLAY. Her publications include: "Play Unlimited - 101 Creative Games," "Play Unlimited - 60 Interactive & Fun Games," "Play Unlimited - Games for the Whole Family," "Play Unlimited - 78 Parent-Child Games," "Play Unlimited - Crazy Game book," "Play Unlimited - Crazy Game book 2," "Play Unlimited - Crazy Game book 3," "Play With Me, Celebrate!", "Pocket Games," "Parent-Child Rescue," "Dr.PLAY Practical Handbook for Free Play," and "Play While Studying and Doing Homework."
She has previously taught in various capacities at the Alliance Bible Seminary, the School of Continuing Education at Hong Kong University, the School of Continuing Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Open University of Hong Kong, and as an auxiliary lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has presented and published research at international conferences on play, recreation, and leisure. She has served as a guest host on ViuTV's "Rich Wealth Channel," Metro Radio's "Little Folks" and "Happy Kids Alliance - Not Just Playing," and on TVB's children's game shows "My Favourite Play YEAH!" and "Think Big. She has also written columns for local newspapers, including Oh 爸媽,Sunday Kiss, Parents Daily, 伴你童行,and Hong Kong Economic Journal's Insight platform, among many other parenting platforms. She has also contributed columns and hosted live programs for magazines such as "Good Mama Baby Mo" and "Mameshare."
Dr.WinWin has served at Playright (Hong Kong), an organization that uses activities and games to foster inclusive experiences for children. She was also the Administrative Director of the theatre group Triangle Productions, participating in theatre seminars, Theatre of the Oppressed, movement therapy, and nature-based play. She excels at using play to enhance parent-child relationships, support adolescent development, train teachers in play-based learning, and conduct team-building for corporate organizations. Currently, she is dedicated to connecting local and international professional networks related to play, focusing on integrating relevant resources and cultures from different regions into Hong Kong.
Jasmine Choi
MAPP (UPENN) . MSW (HKU)
Jasmine holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong and received the Beina Foundation Scholarship to complete her Master's in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, where she studied directly under Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology. She has pursued excellence for many years, undergoing over twenty international professional trainings, including "The Practice of Positive Education" at Geelong Grammar School, Australia; "The Science of Happiness" at Yale University, USA; "VIA Character Strengths Instructor Certification" at the VIA Institute, USA; and "Mindful Parenting Tutor Training Course Certification" at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is currently a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).
She previously served as a Service Development Officer at the Hong Kong Christian Service, where she planned internal professional training and supported the development of evidence-based positive services. To date, she has over 15 years of extensive experience in designing and implementing positive psychology applications. In 2013, she founded Make Positive, introducing positive psychology to over a hundred schools, social welfare organizations, government departments, and corporations. Her past partners include the Legislative Council Secretariat, City University of Hong Kong, The Mission Covenant Church Holm Albert Primary School, HKUGA Primary School, True Light Girls' College, and Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Evangelical Church Fellowship, among others. She has also written positive education columns for media outlets such as "Family Life" and "Parenting Weekly."
Jasmine is currently an invited consultant for the "Jockey Club Youth Readiness Project" at City University of Hong Kong and a guest lecturer for university teacher professional development courses in positive education. She has served as a curriculum design consultant for the "Network Program on Cultivating Positive Attitudes and Values in Students" at the Centre on Behavioural Health, The University of Hong Kong, and as the team leader for the "Positive Education Research Lab" at City University of Hong Kong. She provided core strategies, teacher and parent training, and curriculum design for the first government-subsidized school in Hong Kong to implement school-wide positive education (Holm Albert Primary School). To promote the widespread adoption and practice of positive education within her own home, she has personally funded the creation of various exclusive local positive tools (such as character strengths posters, gratitude journals, and growth mindset coloring cards), dedicating herself to sharing the journey of learning positive psychology together and fostering a healthy, happy life for all.
