Glass goldfish ball earrings

These are the popular long goldfish bead earrings. The hanging ball is designed to swing like a pendulum. During the Edo period, people would buy goldfish from goldfish sellers and enjoy them by putting them in glass goldfish bowls called "kingyodama" and hanging them from the eaves. I made miniature goldfish balls like these into earrings. A 14mm glass bead sways gently next to your ear. To make the goldfish stand out more vividly, I used several different colors rather than a single color to create a gradation. To give the appearance of scales, the belly is painted gold pearl, which gives it a delicate sparkle depending on the angle. The fins are cut very thin so that they are transparent. Even the fine lines were carefully drawn one by one with a thin brush. We also pay particular attention to the cuteness of the faces of our goldfish.
