Please be cautious of color transfer, especially when new. Avoid wearing it with light-colored clothing when you first start using it. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are left as they are on the surface and back. Because it is natural leather, intentionally crafted to showcase its natural characteristics, each piece becomes unique. ◾️ Color Variation Leather finished only with dyes, not pigments, is difficult to control in color, leading to inevitable variations. There may be differences even within leather of the same color. This is the natural charm of leather, achieved through dye finishing. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain Grain refers to the wrinkled pattern on the leather surface. Even on a single piece of leather, some areas may have more wrinkles than others. These differences are part of the appeal of natural leather. ◾️ Numbers Indicating Leather Size, Proof of Italian Leather The numbers on the back are proof of Italian leather. They are printed once on each hide and indicate the size of the leather. The lettering has a certain character, and since it's printed on a high-quality section, we leave it as is. Therefore, it may occasionally appear on the product. Personally, I prefer items with these numbers. ◾️ Water Stains Leather can absorb water, leading to stains. If it gets wet, wiping it off as soon as possible can prevent stains. Applying Ranapure Leather Treatment can provide water-repellent effects. ◾️ Shagreen (Torotoro) This refers to the streak-like patterns and wrinkles that appear in areas of intense muscular stretching and contraction. It is one of the unique expressions found in all natural leather. It is by no means a precursor to cracking or splitting. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather products are made by bonding thin processed leather with a core material for strength, and have an inner lining. However, unlike leather, linings often deteriorate first with use, becoming sticky or peeling. To ensure longer use, this bag is constructed using only thick, strong leather without a lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES&GENTLEMEN will develop a richer, deeper patina over time with oil maintenance. Apply oil to the bag approximately every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Ranapure, available in our online store. Ranapure is a leather treatment that conditions, adds shine, and provides water repellency. Small leather goods, which are touched frequently, will naturally develop a lustrous color without application. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges Please note that returns and exchanges cannot be made unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of scratches or damage due to shipping accidents, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will exchange it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for small items and 3-4 weeks for bags.
