Hand-Woven Linen Stole 【Aya Hana *02】 Material: 90% Linen, 10% Silk Size: Approx. 40cm x 170cm (excluding 9cm fringe) This medium-sized stole is woven using a Swedish lace weaving technique with high-quality undyed linen sourced from a yarn wholesaler in Kyoto. It drapes beautifully with a soft, supple feel, free from stiffness or roughness, conforming gently and lightly to your body. While the stole is a simple undyed color, the vibrant silk lines at both ends enhance the lace weave's transparency and its subtle woven pattern. It can be worn in various ways: draped over the shoulders for sun protection or to ward off air conditioning, or tied neatly around the neck as a stylish accent to a simple outfit. As is characteristic of natural fibers, the linen may contain some small slubs (nepp). However, we use fine-count, high-quality linen, resulting in minimal fuzziness and a lustrous finish. Linen stoles offer superior absorbency, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying properties compared to cotton, providing a dry and refreshing feel against the skin.
