Neutral detergent refers to a pH of 7, and detergents that do *not* have labels for strong cleaning, stain removal, color enhancement, or whitening. 4. It is recommended to dilute the detergent with water before adding it to the washing machine. Pouring it directly onto the fabric may cause localized fading. 5. Natural dye fabrics may have a slight odor, which will gradually disappear with multiple washes. 6. With increased use, natural dye fabrics will slightly fade, developing a unique character. 7.
