Japanese *Viola americana* | Combined Woodland Plants - Accent Plant for Bonsai Exhibition

Japanese Variety: Viola americana (Viola americanas) *Viola americanas* (Hybrid), a rare woodland plant. Features heart-shaped leaves with wavy edges, highly prized for their ornamental form. Graceful and evolving, with flowers appearing successively in spring. The flowers are elegantly colored and shaped, notable for their large size within the violet family (nearly the size of a 5 NT dollar coin). Created for the Mid-Sized Cliff-Dwelling Pohai Exhibition (Fig. 9). Woodland plants used to complement bonsai are also known as accent plants. They carry an additional function beyond everyday free-form arrangements. They must be more delicate and intricate to accentuate the grandeur and artistic conception of the bonsai display. The selection of the container is also particularly important. The Wendang water blue glazed, shallow papaya pot (Fig. 6) Evokes the effect of rolling hills or even watery meadows.
