Graduated from the Department of Craft Design at the National Taiwan University of Arts, he previously worked at the Zhunan Snake Kiln for ten years, where he taught, curated, and performed arts administration. He possesses a solid foundation in traditional Taiwanese pottery and specializes in wood-fired ceramics. He enjoys creating works in diverse locations, having visited Taitung, the United States, Slovenia, Croatia, and other countries, where he has also held residency programs. His work primarily focuses on practical utensils and sculptures, drawing inspiration from the natural world and aiming to capture the organic vitality of nature.
During my time at the Institute of Art and Design at Tsinghua University, I experimented with wild clay from various parts of Taiwan. I freely interacted with the land while creating, using the soft soil to unleash my thoughts. After high-temperature firing, the soil was transformed into a new life. Every piece of work and every idea would be eternalized at this moment.
