At first glance, they might seem like alien creatures, yet it is precisely this unique skeletal makeup that allows them to adapt to diverse and even extreme marine environments, enabling their species to survive and persist to this day. This piece draws inspiration from the manta ray, whose most distinctive feature is the pair of horn-like "cephalic fins" protruding from the front of its head. We've incorporated this element into the central skeletal design of the necklace. The wings on either side highlight the intricate layering and precise construction of the manta ray's fins, with their intersecting skeletal structure creating a striking contrast to the smooth central section. The name "manta ray" (Manta birostris) originates from its unique appearance. The pair of prominent, horn-like "cephalic fins" at the front of their heads resemble open horns when swimming, complemented by large pectoral fins that spread like wings.
