design concept:
Inspired by the paintings of Mr. Xiao Rusong, a late important Hakka watercolor painter in China, the design concept of Xiao Rusong's most well-known still life painting is taken as the design concept of this work, and he pays tribute to his life's master style. He likes to paint the transparent glass and plants in front of the glass window, and his clever stippling technique and multi-layered technique are one of the admirable high performances of Mr. Xiao Rusong's unique painting circle.
The Pine Language Cup is based on a part of a gray-blue painting in the "Still Life - Window Series", presented in the coloring method of dots and lines. In terms of shape, the most common cup shape in paintings is taken, and the technique of kiln blown glass is used to add local elements in paintings. The objects produced by the fusion of the two techniques are not simply paintings printed on cups. It is made by hand-blowing technique, so there will be slight differences in its appearance and size.
