Our bags are crafted from unprocessed cowhide, which features natural variations in texture and depth of colour – a hallmark of handcrafted leather goods. __Does the leather soften with use?__ Yes, the leather will gradually soften and develop a richer character after a few weeks of use. To maintain the bag's shape and ensure longevity, we recommend avoiding overstuffing it with heavy items. __Is the leather waterproof?__ Natural leather is not waterproof. However, both leather and suede can be protected with a waterproofing spray. Please use sparingly, as the spray may affect the leather's natural sheen. __Will the bag be damaged if it gets wet?__ Exposure to small amounts of moisture will not damage the leather. If the bag accidentally gets splashed with a little water, simply hang it up to air dry naturally. __Will the suede fade?__ Under normal use, it will not fade, especially when protected with a waterproofing spray.
