Even within the same color, there can be slight differences. This dye finish contributes to the authentic, natural leather aesthetic. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain Leather grain refers to the wrinkled pattern on the surface of the leather. The density of this pattern can vary across a single hide, with some areas having more prominent wrinkles than others. These natural variations are part of the charm of genuine leather. ◾️ Italian Leather Mark, Leather Size Indicator A mark on the back, also an indicator of Italian leather, signifies the size of the hide. Each mark is stamped once per hide, indicating its dimensions. The lettering has a certain aesthetic quality and is typically found in high-quality sections, so it is often incorporated into the product as is. Consequently, you may occasionally find these markings on your item. Personally, we find items with these markings quite appealing. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water, leading to stains. Wiping it dry as soon as possible after it gets wet can help prevent stains. Applying a leather treatment like Renapur can provide water-repellent properties. ◾️ Wrinkles (Tora) These are linear patterns or wrinkles that appear in areas of high muscular activity and stretching. They are a natural characteristic of genuine leather and are not indicative of cracks or splits. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather goods are made by bonding thin leather with a core material for strength, and often have an inner lining. Unlike leather, linings can deteriorate over time, becoming sticky or tattered. To ensure longevity, this item is crafted using only thick, strong leather without any lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES&GENTLEMEN will develop a richer, more lustrous patina over time with proper oil maintenance, allowing you to enjoy its evolving character for longer. For bags, apply oil approximately every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Renapur, available in our online store, which offers conditioning, gloss enhancement, and water repellency. Small leather goods, due to frequent handling, will naturally develop a glossy sheen without additional treatment. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges We regret that we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless there is a defect in the product.
