[Basic stocking days are 7 to 14 working days] In the summer of 2015, a few farmers leaned over and planted rice seedlings on a rice field in Matsushiro, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, in an afternoon full of sky and wind. At a glance, the figure is no different from Japanese farmers, but it turns out that they are all from Hong Kong. Living in a foreign land, they used the method of natural balance to try to cultivate in a different place, for this project called "The Earth to Me", which is also one of the exhibition projects of the famous Echigo Tsubasa Art Festival... What is the plan of "The Earth Gives Me"? What is its purpose and content? More importantly, what enlightenment will the Earth Art Festival and "The Earth Give Me" bring to the deep urban and rural issues in Japan and Hong Kong? "Nongren's Ambition: Land Art Festival and the Connection between Hong Kong and Japan" was born to discuss these issues. The book records the details of this project, and through interviews with a large number of core and surrounding Hong Kong and Japanese figures, we explore the far-reaching significance of this project, and then try to use Japan as a mirror to deepen our thinking about Hong Kong's urban and rural issues. Yang Tianshuai is currently a reporter at Hong Kong "Stance News" and a doctoral student at Tokyo University of the Arts.
