We cherish its relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." Because our fabric is woven on shuttle looms that are over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like "fraying" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough quality control at the factory and careful placement during fabric cutting. If found, we strive to use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them entirely. We hope you will appreciate these weaving flaws as a testament to the unique character produced by our vintage shuttle looms, embracing them as part of the bag's charm.
