Little Beast - Three Legs Tray

Inspired by the shape of the traditional Chinese tripod and transforming it with a contemporary design language, “Three Legs Tray” is a high-legged dish with three cat paws that incorporates the image of a cat. In addition to its functional purpose as a plate, the tray itself also resembles a small cat sculpture, quietly lazing in different corners of the home. “Three Legs Tray” is suitable for placement in the entranceway, where it can be used to store keys, loose change, and other small items. It is also ideal for use as a dessert plate, adding a sense of ritual to the enjoyment of cake. Alternatively, it can be placed on a bedroom table to display personal items such as accessories or minerals. The tray surface is crafted with a lathe to create a slightly concave curved surface, and the sides are carved with patterns resembling flowing fur, extending the visual concept of the sculpture to the tray legs. Each of the tray legs underneath are hand-carved, making each tray unique. The Three-legged Cat Dish is available in four different materials and colors. The walnut, cherry, and Luanda fir versions are coated with Auro natural wood oil, while camphor wood version is stained black and then coated with transparent varnish to increase surface durability.
