Depending on the light, it may have a calm hue close to orange, or it may seem to capture light, reminiscent of lamplight. (Multiple photos are provided, so please take a look and compare.) The metal fittings used are antique-toned. They have a subdued color palette, like intricate lace or stained glass, designed not just for their inherent beauty but also for the shadows they cast, adding a sense of refinement. To fully capture the allure of the kanzashi, a delicate item, the layout emphasizes a flowing drape, utilizing chains extensively. Scattered like small lanterns hanging here and there are small Czech glass beads in a surprisingly vibrant array of colors, from reds to blues, and tiny, lightweight metallic leaves. Although the composition is rich in detail, the overall finish is not overwhelming, thanks to the main bead being placed within a hoop at the top. Within the circular silhouette, the large yellow bead, with its unique gentle sway, stands quietly.
