Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery appliques. However, most fabric patches require ironing to adhere and are used to decorate fabric items or mend holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They are perfect for smooth, non-fabric surfaces like water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique together! 🏷 How do I use an embroidered patch? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing is needed, and it stays put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Use a pressing cloth to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also make it secure! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure it. This will prevent high temperatures from damaging your fabric! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing. They are not likely to fall off when applied to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron it on and reinforce with sewing for increased durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed on and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend deciding on the placement before applying. If you peel it off and wish to reuse it, the embroidered patch can still be sewn onto fabric with a sewing machine or by hand for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after peeling off an applied embroidered patch? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive, so some residue may remain after peeling. The residue can be removed with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Before using any remover, please check if your item's surface material is compatible to avoid damaging your item! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue. The adhesive on the embroidered patch will melt when exposed to heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
