Town Musicians of Bremen A donkey unable to work, a hound abandoned by its master, an old cat, and a rooster—four animals decide to journey together to Bremen to form a band. Along the way, they encounter bandits. United, they use their unique "music" to drive away the enemies, and after chasing off the bandits, they live freely together. This is a story of friendship unbound by age or species, and how unity can create a beautiful life. Inspired by this tale, Calvin has recreated it using his expertise in joinery. The four animals can be admired individually for their charming forms, or stacked together like the Bremen Town Musicians statue, recreating the iconic pose.
