The common perception of odor often comes from menstrual blood mixing with the chemical core of disposable pads. Washing menstrual blood isn't unpleasant; there's only a faint metallic scent up close. Washing is also simple. Just have "Sodium Percarbonate" (an eco-friendly cleaning agent) on hand. You'll find a sense of healing and accomplishment each month watching your clean cloth pads – a small joy. For full-cycle use, we suggest having 15-20 pads for rotation. Used cloth pads can be stored in our thoughtfully designed double-layer storage bags. Wash them at home along with your underwear. At the end of each cycle, you can give them a complete spa treatment by machine washing them in a laundry bag, then ensure they are completely dry before storing. Fasten the wings at the back, adjust to the proper position, and ensure the pad is flat before putting on your underwear to prevent shifting and leakage. [Storage Instructions] With normal use, they can last at least 2 years. Please avoid storing in humid environments to prevent mildew. [Washing Instructions] Step 1: Rinse under cool running water to release menstrual blood from the fabric. Squeeze gently instead of twisting to avoid damaging the waterproof coating. Step 2: After rinsing and squeezing out menstrual blood in cool water, sprinkle Sodium Percarbonate (oxygen bleach) on any remaining stains. For bamboo cotton, pre-wetting and then soaking in warm water can help remove bloodstains. For patterned cotton, sprinkle and gently rub to remove stains. If stains are deeper towards the end of your period, you can briefly soak them. Prolonged contact with sodium percarbonate can cause localized bleaching on patterned cotton. Please refer to the included washing instructions. If you are unsure about any steps, feel free to contact the designer for assistance. Step 3: You can soak them with a dedicated hand wash detergent for intimate apparel to remove any metallic scent from the menstrual blood in the fabric. Step 4: After rinsing thoroughly, air dry them in indirect sunlight under a covered balcony, which also helps with sterilization. [Precautions] 1. Do not use fabric softener or soaps containing oils, as this can affect the fabric's breathability. 2. Gently rub with Sodium Percarbonate by hand; avoid using a laundry brush, which can snag the fabric. 3. Your hands may feel dry after contact with Sodium Percarbonate. Consider wearing gloves or applying hand cream after washing to moisturize your skin. 4. Sodium Percarbonate is an oxygen-based bleach. Do not use it simultaneously with chlorine bleach, as this can be dangerous.
