Blood Drop Iolite, sourced from Sri Lanka, forms with abundant hematite and goethite inclusions. When light passes through, these inclusions appear as blood-like spots, giving it its name. It is a very rare variety of iolite. High-quality blood drop iolite may also exhibit a stunning aventurescence, resembling a galaxy, due to the reflection of light from the hematite particles within. Iolite, also known as the "Stone of the Vikings" or "Water Sapphire," is believed to harmonize "logic" and "intuition."
