The default length is 43cm. ### What is 14KGF Gold Filled? ° Full English name: 1/20 14K gold filled wire ° This is a jewelry-making technique where a thick layer of 14K gold is mechanically bonded to a base metal (like brass or another alloy). Gold-filled pieces have strong adhesion and high wear resistance, making them less likely to tarnish or peel compared to gold-plated items, and they are much more durable. ° '1/20' is a standard set by the U.S. FTC, indicating that the gold content must be at least 1/20th (5%) of the product's total weight to be classified as 1/20 14K gold-filled. ° A little tip: Only gold-filled items produced in the USA truly qualify as genuine gold-filled. ^_*
