Marjolein Bastin is a famous Dutch nature painter, writer, children's writer and illustrator, as well as the creator of "Vera the Mouse"; most of her works are based on flowers, birds, and other wild animals and plants around her. Watercolor paintings with delicate brushstrokes lead you to visit all kinds of nature.
This series of designs is a cup set created by her in collaboration with J&G Meakin, an English pottery manufacturing company founded in 1851 and now part of the Wedgwood Group.
